RETURN TO PLAY ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to share with you our plans for phase one of reopening our programs this summer.

It is important as you reflect on the details that these are short term and are likely to change within the next two weeks as outlined by Premier Rankin & Dr. Strang as we move through the different phases.

We do appreciate that the amendments to the original schedule are likely to cause some families conflicts or create an inconvenience in the short term. However, it is important that we share with everyone that our decisions were made with the following objectives in mind:

~ Ensure as many players as possible is afforded the opportunity to participate.

~ Effectively manage our resources ranging from limited facilities & staff.

~ Create the best development environment possible for all our members.

It is also important to note that we still have no guarantee on when competition can commence but there is intent to strive for a July 5th start date.

We appreciate that you might have questions regarding the cost of the programs with the amendments to the start and end dates of programs. We are still in constant dialogue with Soccer Nova Scotia on further understanding options for each program and how that will influence the cost to our membership.

IMPORTANT – If you have not registered and turn up to train you will not be allowed to participate under any circumstances due to no insurance coverage.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & START DATES

All schedules will be added to the Clubhouse schedule over the next 48 hours & families MUST check-in for every session as outlined in previous correspondence.

Mini Program U4-U11

U4-U5 programs scheduled at all locations will move during phase one to Stanley Park and will take place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays starting June 12th. It was necessary to move these programs due to the nature of it being parent and tot, as it doubled the occupancy at fields.

~ U6-U11 programs will start on June 14th. There will be some slight time amendments and the program will end two weeks later into early September.

~ Due to the club fulfilling the program duration there are no fee amendments.

~ Uniform & Ball Pick-up will take place at SMU near the entrance to the turf field on Tuesday, June 8th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Stanley Park on Friday, June 11th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If you cannot pick up your uniform on these days, we might not be able to guarantee to have it ready on the first week but will endeavour to get it to you when possible.

~ Unfortunately, there will be no spectators allowed in the grounds during phase one.

IMPORTANT – You might be receiving this even if you were on a waitlist. We will reach out to all families to confirm spots, locations and times.

WE NEED THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO MAKE THIS WORK

Please consider assisting us this summer in any capacity as we navigate the restrictions associated to running safe programs and battling COVID-19.

Whether you want to coach, be a parent who is called on when schedule conflicts occur or simply want to help out managing the different locations and environments we operate programs from, we and our members would be very grateful.
